Bhavan Vidyalaya, Panchkula, hosted the CBSE Regional Level Science Exhibition – 2025 on November 11 and 12 with great enthusiasm and grandeur. A total of 165 innovative and creative projects were presented by talented students from various schools across the region. The exhibition showcased projects under diverse themes such as Green Energy, Emerging Technology, Health and Hygiene, Sustainable Agriculture, Recreational Mathematical Modelling, Water Conservation and Management, Waste Management, and Alternatives to Plastic.
The exhibition was inaugurated by Mr. Rakesh Kumar Gupta, Regional Officer, CBSE Panchkula, who, in his inspiring inaugural address, praised the creativity, enthusiasm, and scientific temperament of the young participants. He emphasized that “Scientific research and innovation play a pivotal role in shaping the future and have the potential to lead humanity to greater heights.” Participating students got a remarkable opportunity to explore real-life problems through a scientific lens and apply their technical knowledge to devise effective solutions. They interacted with mentors and judges, gaining deeper insights into various scientific concepts and processes.
A distinguished panel of six judges — Dr. Manish Dev, Dr. A. S. Balgir, Dr. Harleen Bakshi, Dr. Sudhir Kumar Yadav, Mr. Karan Singh, and Col. Babbarwal — evaluated the exhibits across seven sub-themes and selected outstanding projects to represent the region at the National Level Science Exhibition. The event stood as a strong testimony to CBSE’s ongoing commitment to promoting interactive and experiential learning, and to nurturing a spirit of scientific inquiry and innovation among students.
Mrs. Gulshan Kaur, the Principal encouraged all participants, saying, “Students should continue to explore new dimensions for the welfare of humanity through science and creativity.”In conclusion, the exhibition proved to be a resounding success, offering young scientists a powerful platform to display their talent, move forward on the path of innovation, and contribute to the world of science and technology. The event reaffirmed that inspiring critical and creative thinking among the younger generation is the true key to a brighter future.
