Bhavan Vidyalaya, Panchkula observed Veer Baal Diwas with solemnity and pride, paying tribute to the supreme sacrifice and courage of the Chaar Sahibzade, the sons of Guru Gobind Singh Ji. A special assembly featured a meaningful play, patriotic poems in Hindi and Punjabi, and a soulful Shabad, creating a spiritually uplifting atmosphere. Students also witnessed the live telecast of the National Level Veer Baal Diwas programme from Bharat Mandapam, New Delhi.
To mark the occasion, NSS volunteers watched the inspirational film “Char Sahibzade” and later visited Nada Sahib Gurudwara, where they offered prayers, participated in langar and engaged in community service by serving devotees and cleaning utensils.
Speaking on the occasion, Principal Ms. Gulshan Kaur remarked that the sacrifice of the Chaar Sahibzade is a timeless lesson in courage, faith and moral strength. She emphasized that observing Veer Baal Diwas helps instil values of resilience, compassion and selfless service among students, inspiring them to stand firm for truth and righteousness in their lives.
