Bhavan Vidyalaya, Panchkula, successfully hosted a comprehensive two-day CBSE workshop on Accountancy on 25th & 26th July, 2026, as part of its ongoing commitment to enhancing educational excellence and empowering commerce educators. The primary objective of the workshop was to familiarize educators with innovative teaching methodologies, financial analysis techniques, and competency-based assessment designs for Senior Secondary Accountancy. The program commenced with a welcome address by the Headmistress of the school, Mrs. Anita Ranjan, followed by ceremonial lamp lighting amidst the recitation of shlokas.The intensive training sessions were graced by two distinguished resource persons Dr. Neelu Dhall and Mr. Gaurav Palia.The experts shared invaluable insights on simplifying complex accounting concepts, integrating digital tools and fostering analytical and problem-solving abilities among commerce students. Teachers actively participated in hands-on discussions and interactive sessions, ensuring a dynamic learning environment. The Principal, Mrs. Gulshan Kaur, emphasized the need to align commerce teaching practices with the National Education Policy’s vision, focusing on competency-based learning, financial literacy, and 21st-century life skills to ensure students develop into well-rounded professionals.
