Bhavan Vidyalaya, Panchkula, conducted vibrant and meaningful Special Assemblies by the students of Grade I, highlighting their creativity, confidence, collaboration and important life values through engaging presentations.
The various sections presented their themes with great enthusiasm and creativity. ‘Wednesday Bazaar’ brought to life the vibrancy of a bustling bazaar, with each lane offering a new learning and meaningful value. ‘Threads of Creativity’ celebrated imagination, originality and the joy of creating. ‘Together We Shine’ beautifully highlighted unity and cooperation, while conveying the inspiring message that learning is a lifelong journey filled with endless opportunities to discover and grow. ‘Where Shall We Go?’ captured the spirit of curiosity, imagination, and dreams, while ‘Gratitude’ emphasised the importance of being thankful and appreciating the people and moments around us. A special Grandparents’ Day celebration added warmth to the occasion, with grandparents participating enthusiastically and sharing memorable moments with their grandchildren.
The assemblies beautifully reflected the spirit of the National Education Policy (NEP) by promoting holistic development through creativity, emotional growth, values and learning beyond textbooks. A special community lunch, organised by the parents and served by the students, added a meaningful learning experience, helping children develop sharing, cooperation, responsibility and a sense of community. The presentations and lunch together beautifully highlighted kindness, empathy, gratitude and the joy of lifelong learning. The programme concluded with the Principal Mrs. Gulshan Kaur, appreciating the efforts and enthusiastic participation of the young learners and wishing them a bright future.
