As part of the ongoing 7-day National Service Scheme (NSS) Camp, the NSS volunteers of Bhavan Vidyalaya, Panchkula, visited the sacred Mansa Devi Temple and Gurudwara Nada
Sahib to promote the values of religious harmony, service and social responsibility.
During the visit, the volunteers learned about the significance of respecting all faiths and experienced India's rich tradition of unity in diversity. The visit provided them with an
opportunity to understand that irrespective of religion, the core values of compassion, humanity, equality and selfless service remain the same.
At Gurudwara Nada Sahib, the volunteers enthusiastically participated in sewa (community service). The experience helped them imbibe the virtues of humility, discipline, teamwork and
dedication towards the welfare of society.
Speaking on the occasion, Mrs. Gulshan Kaur, Principal of Bhavan Vidyalaya, Panchkula, said, "Education goes beyond the classroom. Such experiences help students develop empathy, respect for all religions and a spirit of selfless service. The values learned through community service prepare our students to become responsible, compassionate and socially conscious citizens.
The visit was a meaningful learning experience that reinforced the ideals of communal harmony, national integration and social responsibility, inspiring the volunteers to continue serving society with commitment and compassion.
