Learning came alive for Class 2 students this week i.e. 07 July 2026 to 10 July 2026 as they visited Everyday Supermarket, Sector 11, Panchkula, as part of an educational activity. The visit aimed to develop financial awareness and help students understand the importance of making smart choices in their daily lives.
The students explored different sections of the supermarket and purchased items according to their requirements.
Through this activity, they learned the difference between needs and wants. They also understood the importance of making wise spending decisions, comparing prices, reading product labels, checking manufacturing and expiry dates and appreciating the value of money. In addition, they observed the billing counter and learned how bills are generated and payments are processed.
The Principal, Mrs. Gulshan Kaur, appreciated the students' enthusiasm and encouraged them to participate in more such experiential learning activities. The visit was a meaningful experience that helped students connect classroom learning with real-life situations.
