Bhavan Vidyalaya, Panchkula, organised Medha Manayata Diwas for the students of Classes VI to VIII on 7 August 2026. The event was held to honour students for their outstanding academic achievements, exemplary discipline and excellence in co-curricular activities. The programme commenced with the ceremonial lighting of the lamp by the members of the School Management Committee and the Principal, Mrs. Gulshan Kaur.
During the ceremony, Anvi Soni was conferred with the Student of the Year Award. In addition, 14 students were honoured with the Most Regular Student Award. Students who had consistently secured 90% and above marks for three and six consecutive years were also felicitated with cash awards and mementoes in recognition of their sustained academic excellence.

Students who excelled in co-curricular activities were also recognised for their exceptional talents. Radhya Arora received the Best Vocalist Award, while Ramani Bansal was honoured with the Best Writer Award.
A major highlight of the programme was the patriotic group presentation, "Vande Mataram – Spirit of India," performed by the students of Classes VII and VIII. The
captivating performance left a lasting impression on the parents and distinguished guests present on the occasion.
Addressing the gathering, Principal Mrs. Gulshan Kaur congratulated all the award recipients and remarked that these honours were not merely a celebration of their achievements but also a source of inspiration to strive for greater excellence in the future. She appreciated the dedication of the students, the commitment of the teachers and the unwavering support of the parents, encouraging everyone to continue pursuing excellence in all spheres of learning.
