Bhavan Vidyalaya, Panchkula, conducted a one-day CBSE Workshop on “Active Learning” on November 15, 2025, with the participation of 112 educators from
various schools. The workshop aimed to enhance teachers’ understanding of active learning strategies that encourage student engagement, collaboration, creativity, and critical thinking.
The sessions were led by Mr. Ravinder Singh and Ms. Eesha More, experienced CBSE Resource Persons known for their commitment to quality education and teacher training.
Mr. Ravinder Singh, with over 19 years of teaching experience, specializes in Mathematics, Economics, and Vedic Maths. He also serves as President of Rishi
Dayanand Welfare Society and Founder–Director of Rishi Dayanand Sports Academy, Narayangarh.
Ms. Eesha More, from Chitkara International School, Chandigarh, holds a Master’s in English Literature from Panjab University and is recognized for her work in
inclusive and learner-centred education.
The interactive sessions included discussions and group activities that helped educators explore practical classroom applications of active learning.
The workshop was held under the guidance of Principal Ms. Gulshan Kaur, whose leadership continues to foster innovation and holistic education at Bhavan Vidyalaya.
