The NSS volunteers of Class XI from Bhavan Vidyalaya, Panchkula, visited the Old Age Home in Sector 15, Panchkula, on 20th May 2025. The visit proved to be a heartwarming and enriching experience for the students as they spent time interacting with the elderly residents, listening to their life journeys and sharing their own thoughts and experiencles.
The interactions were filled with warmth, laughter and meaningful conversations, leaving a lasting impression on both the students and the senior citizens. The volunteers brought smiles and comfort to the residents through their presence and interaction.
Principal Mrs. Gulshan Kaur emphasized that Bhavan Vidyalaya continues its commitment to building socially conscious and compassionate individuals through thoughtful outreach programmes. Such initiatives aim to nurture values of care, empathy and gratitude among students, while also making them aware of the importance of emotional support in the lives of the elderly.
