Bhavan Vidyalaya Panchkula celebrated the culmination of Geeta Mahotsav with a stage presentation on Lord Vishnu ‘Dashavatar' by all students of grade l and ll.
The event commenced with a ceremonial inauguration, where the Principal, Ms. Gulshan Kaur, along with dignitaries from the Management Committee, lit the traditional lamp symbolizing the enlightenment of knowledge and culture. The epic cycle of ten incarnations of lord Vishnu was presented by students through a vibrant show.
The re-creation of the universe in Matsya avatar, the obtaining of nectar by churning in Kurma avatar, God's first step on earth with a human body in Varaha avatar, the devotion of Prahlad in Narasimha avatar, and the measuring of the pride of King Bali with his feet in Vaman avatar were depicted with artistic finesse. The stage presentation continued with Shri Ram avatar, establishing dignity, Shri Krishna teaching the art of living through Bhagavad Gita, and the incarnation of Lord Buddha spreading the message of peace, leading to the anticipation of the future Kalki incarnation.
As the program reached its culmination, the young performers received resounding applause and cheers from the audience. In her address, Principal Ms. Gulshan Kaur lauded the outstanding performances of the budding talents and encouraged students to unravel the valuable lessons hidden in the Lord's story. She emphasized that the theme 'Dashavatar' aimed not only to provide an educational experience but also to promote cultural awareness and instill values in the students. She expressed heartfelt appreciation to everyone whose contributions led to the success of this memorable event.
