BHAVAN VIDYALAYA PANCHKULA Pays A Heartwarming Tribute to Grandparents -Our Pillars of Wisdom

From 4th September to 16th September’2023, the campus of Bhavan Vidyalaya reverberated with laughter, love, and nostalgia as it celebrated Grandparents' Day in distinctive style. On this occasion students from Nursery to Grade 2 presented vibrant show for their grandparents, under the able guidance of the principal of the school, Mrs. Gulshan Kaur.
After their arrival, esteemed grandparents were warmly welcomed with a traditional tilak ceremony, and presented with heartfelt thank-you cards. They were then escorted to the school auditorium by dedicated ushers, where the event unfolded. The event was inaugurated with the lamp lighting and shloka recitation. Children showcased yoga, song and dance performances with zeal and fervour.
They also exhibited ramp walk on the theme “Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam” which fostered a sense of unity and strengthened the unique bond between generations. Grandparents eagerly participated in the one-minute games, relished the opportunity to relive their childhood days.
The school principal, Mrs. Gulshan Kaur expressed her gratitude to all the grandparents for their invaluable presence and emphasized on their role in the grooming of these young children. She urged grandparents to share their knowledge, values, and experiences with the young generation, nurturing their curiosity and helping them grow into well-rounded individuals. She also conveyed sincere appreciation for the heartfelt efforts put forth by the young Bhavanites.
